Are you a public innovator? Join us for our Public Innovators Lab
Wednesday, November 2, 2005
(The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation)For nearly 20 years, Rich Harwood and The
Harwood Institute have worked to find an
alternate path for politics and public life. We
know that there is an urgent need for
community-based organizations that cut across
divisions in communities ñ that span
boundaries and know how to be catalytic in
their work. We also know we must generate a new
cadre of leaders from across society whose
words and actions are guided by sensibilities
and practices that promote credibility and
trust in society. The fundamental question,
though, is ìHow?î Thatís why weíve created
the Harwood Public Innovators Lab. The lab is
an intensely focused, highly interactive
experience where we will expose you to the
Harwood sensibilities and practices and help
you discover how to activate them for yourself,
your organization, and your community. The
four-day experience is organized around a set
of modules that represent the most
comprehensive collection of our core frameworks
to date. It is designed particularly for those
people who want to expand and deepen their
knowledge around creating change.
The
Spring 2006 Public Innovators Lab will be take
place Sunday, May 21-Thursday, May 25 at the
Pier 5 Hotel on Baltimoreís Inner Harbor. Your
