Hope Unraveled tour heading to Minnesota next week

(The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation)Rich Harwood will be traveling to
Minneapolis-Saint Paul and Rochester,
Minnesota, Nov. 8-10 to continue sharing the
message of Hope Unraveled and how
citizens can step forward to reverse the
people’s retreat and forge an alternate path
for politics and public life.
- Rich will be speaking at a public forum and
signing books Nov. 8 at 7 p.m. at the Heintz
Center, University of Minnesota-Rochester. Rich
will be introduced by Minnesota Sen. Sheila
Kiscaden. The event is being co-sponsored by a
coalition of eight community organizations: the
Rochester Public Schools, League of Women
Voters, Rochester Post-Bulletin, Rochester Area
PTSA, Rochester Area Foundation, Rochester
Community & Technical College, Rochester
Neighborhood Resource Center, and the
University of Minnesota-Rochester. For more

- Minnesota Public Radio and the Citizens
League are co-sponsoring a forum the evening of
Nov. 9 at Macalester College in Minneapolis on
Hope Unraveled. Rich will be speaking
and signing books. The event is open to the
public, but tickets are required. For more

- Rich is also meeting with the staff of
Minnesota Public Radio to talk about ways that
the public broadcasting sector can play a role
in helping citizens step forward to reverse the
people’s retreat.
- Finally, Minnesota Public Radio is hosting
Rich for an invitation-only lunch with civic
leaders from across the twin cities, including
members of the nonprofit, media, and
philanthropic sectors.
