Learn how to use 'stages of community life' to accelerate your change work
Monday, February 6, 2006
(The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation)Although The Harwood Institute has a detailed
methodology for gauging what we call a
community's "stage of community life," most
public innovators already have a strong sense
of what stage their community is in. The
question for them is, "How do I calibrate my
work to be effective, given my community's
stage?"
The Harwood Public Innovators
Lab is designed to help you answer that
question.
During the Lab, we will take
you through tools and frameworks, including
stages of community life and public alignment,
that will give you a new way to look at your
work and help you adjust your strategies to
accelerate your progress.
The Lab is a
unique experience designed specifically for
public innovators who want to accelerate their
efforts and are looking for a space to think
more deeply about how communities actually
work, the conditions in communities that either
accelerate or stymie progress, and how to use
that knowledge to create highly effective
strategies.
The spring Innovators Lab is
coming up in May, and space is purposefully
limited. For more information, or to sign up,
