Join the Annual Public Innovators Summit -- A Year of New Products for You
Tuesday, September 5, 2006
(The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation)The Harwood Institute announces today the first
wave of new products that will emerge from its
inaugural Annual Public Innovators Summit that
took place in Midway, Utah Aug. 18-20.
The products are intended for public
innovators everywhere to use to accelerate
their own work around innovation and change in
public life and politics.
Here is a
sampling of the new products, which will be
launched later this month:
– Summit
Question of the Month – each month, we
will highlight in our e-letter and website a
key question from this year’s Annual Public
Innovators Summit for you and others to use in
exploring your own ideas about public
innovation and change. Our hope is that you
will find the questions useful in your own
work, maybe discuss them with your colleagues;
and send in your thoughts so we can share them
with others;
– Summit Video
Moments – we will post on our e-letter
and website short video clips from people who
participated in this year’s Annual Public
Innovators Summit talking about public
innovation and change, their own personal
challenges in pursing their work, and their
aspirations for making their work more
meaningful;
– Summit Innovations
– periodically we will produce a new tool
for you to use based on key discussions held at
this year’s Annual Public Innovators Summit;
– Summit Reflections – from
time to time Rich Harwood as well as Summit
participants will offer reflections on ideas,
issues, and insights discussed at this year’s
Annual Public Innovators Summit.
In each
and every instance we will seek your ideas and
thoughts – about your own discussions,
reactions, and ideas for us to pursue. Our goal
is to make this an interactive process. Toward
that end, given opportune moments, we will
experiment with formats, technology
applications, and creating spaces for
conversations.
We look forward to making
The Harwood Institute’s Annual Public
Innovators Summit a platform for year-round
engagement among public innovators. We look
forward to talking and working together.
In the meantime, send me your comments
and thoughts at
